Born and raised in New York, Barbara began her career at the prestigious advertising agency Young & Rubicam. Working closely with the agency’s Art Buyers inspired Barbara to begin representing film talent and photojournalists both domestically and internationally.

After raising her two sons on her own, Barbara eventually made her way to Los Angeles to follow her dream. She is the proud mom of two remarkable young men, Garrett and Austin Barbera who are both extremely accomplished in their careers, and her first grandson, Chanson, along with her beautiful daughter-in-law Terrah.

The struggles of being a single mom over the years taught Barbara to be grateful for the positive way her life unfolded in Los Angeles. The experience inspired her with a fervent desire to now pay it forward.  By helping many philanthropic organizations through her silent auction services, she is able to help many non profits raise money for their charity.

Through an introduction to one of the great legendary rock stars of all times, Robby Krieger of The Doors, Barbara thought it would be a perfect fit to offer celebrity art, hand signed limited number editions in giclées to the non profits as another means of fundraising. The project entitled Art For A Cause, is another dimension to the fundraising services that Barbara can offer to her clients. She feels very fulfilled to be able to help so many wonderful people raise money for their cause. 

One of Barbara’s passions has been fine jewelry ever since she can remember. As a result of her life long emotional connection with jewelry, Barbara offers to her close friends and family, as well as silent auctions, the finest crafted jewelry that she personally hand selects with an eye to high fashion, design and uniqueness.

Barbara currently resides in Beverly Hills, CA close to her sons and geographically desirable for charity events.
